The Acorn Farm was delighted to welcome pupils from Knockavoe Primary School this week as they celebrated World Food Day 2025!🧄🎃
Special thanks to Deputy Mayor Alderman Niree McMorris for joining the pupils and showing support for our young growers as they planted garlic and harvested pumpkins to help stock our local social supermarkets 🧺💚
It was wonderful to see the pupils getting hands-on in the garden and learning how sustainable, locally grown food can support those most in need across the Derry and Strabane area. 👏
The future of food is in good hands! 🙌
