On Wednesday, class 6a had the wonderful opportunity to attend the EA SpringFest event in the Millennium Forum, Derry.
We could not be prouder of how well the pupils represented our school. This experience involved travelling by bus and taking part in a busy, lively environment that was both loud and potentially overwhelming.
Despite these challenges, the children showed remarkable resilience, confidence and maturity throughout the trip. They coped exceptionally well with the change in routine and the sensory demands of the event, and most importantly, they fully embraced and enjoyed the experience!
It was a joy to see their enthusiasm and engagement, and this outing was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their progress and independence. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them.
We even stopped for a quick snap at the Derry Girls wall!
