Storytime with Póga

What an amazing time was had with Class 11/12 reading Room on the Broom.
🧹 Literal meaning: The witch has a broomstick and keeps offering rides to the animals she meets — a cat, dog, bird, and frog. Each time she asks, “Is there room on the broom for an [animal] like me?” It’s about sharing and making space for others.
- 💛 Deeper meaning:
- It celebrates kindness, inclusion, and friendship.
- It shows that helping others and working together leads to positive outcomes.
- It gently teaches children about teamwork, acceptance, and problem-solving.
So, “Room on the Broom” means there’s always space to include others — a lovely metaphor for kindness and community spirit.
This was a wag worthy tale of a week and everyone loved it!
