Titanic Fun!

14th Apr 2026
On the night of 14th April 1912, the Belfast-built ship, the Titanic struck an iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Newfoundland, during it's maiden voyage to America.

The largest, fastest and "unsinkable" ship, sank beneath the sea at 2:20am on the morning of the 15th April.

Sadly, of the 2208 people aboard, only around 707 survived.

Today, FE1 enjoyed learning about the ill-fated ship and how difficult it was to sail through the ocean, avoiding the icebergs.

They even had a go at trying it out for themselves! They created origami paper boats and had fun blowing their paper boats across an iceberg-laden sea, trying their hardest to avoid sinking their ships.
