Social Stories
Please find social stories for help with treatment day.
Today is treatment day in school. To help support our pupils, especially those who benefit from structure and visual explanations, we are sharing a set of social stories that explain what will happen in a simple and reassuring way.
These social stories are available on our school website and include:
- Applying Cream – explains why treatment cream may be needed and what the process looks like.
- Hand Washing – reinforces good hygiene habits.
- Ivermectin – provides information in a child-friendly format about this specific treatment.
You can view and download these stories below
We encourage parents and carers to read these social stories with their child to help them understand what to expect and to reduce any worries they may have.
For further guidance, please also refer to the Public Health Agency (PHA) information leaflets, which offer clear and accessible advice on a wide range of health topics relevant to families.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us provide a calm, safe, and reassuring environment for all our pupils.
